The Campaigns and Conversion Officer will support the planning and execution of a wide range of recruitment advertising and listing campaigns and conversion activity towards the achievement of student recruitment targets for both the Home/UK and for international student segments. Campaigns and conversion work drives prospects to Kent through the student journey for both UK and international audiences. The work of this area delivers an essential part of the university’s core strategic objectives in achieving enrolment targets and as such this is a role of particular responsibility in the context of a demanding, competitive and complex market environment.
As a Campaigns and Conversions officer you can expect to be involved in :
* Supporting the Campaigns and Conversions Manager in the delivery and monitoring of advertising, promotional campaigns and conversion plans to support recruitment from all key segments
* Creating, checking and sending email, print, WhatsApp and SMS campaigns specified in the conversion plans. Utilising the technology within the CRM deliver personalised and segmented messaging that helps convert prospects into students;
* Assisting in all offline promotion and conversion activities across the whole conversion funnel for prospective students (e.g. calling campaigns, digital and print material, and other collateral);
* Collaborative working with the Events and other Directorate teams to deliver and promote in-person and online events
What will you bring to the role?
* Educated to degree level or equivalent
* Ability to think creatively and to create engaging content that is aligned to brand and delivers against business objectives
* Experience executing marketing campaigns, including creating and sending segmented and personalised communications and crafting and delivering advertising campaigns
* Strong copywriting and proof‑reading skills with experience creating inspiring and effective content
