* Step into a senior role with real influence, not blocked by hierarchy
* Clear pathway to salaried partner in a high-performing, profitable firm
* Work on HNW estates and trusts within a genuinely collaborative team
This Solihull-based role is a strategic senior hire at a key moment for the private client team. With retirements and reduced hours at senior level, there’s a genuine need for someone who can step in, take ownership and provide stability, not just fill a gap.
From day one, you’ll be trusted to run a meaningful caseload of complex private client matters, particularly around HNW estate planning and trusts. You won’t be micromanaged or held back; the expectation is that you can operate independently, make sound decisions and quickly become a reliable senior presence.
Within the first year, you’ll naturally become a go-to person for complex files and a sounding board for junior lawyers. The team is close-knit and protective of its culture, so building trust and credibility matters just as much as technical ability.
Looking ahead, this role offers genuine progression. As senior capacity continues to thin, you’ll have the opportunity to step into a leadership-style position, shaping the direction of the team and potentially progressing to a salaried partner level.
The culture is one of the biggest draws, no egos, no internal politics, just a collaborative environment where people focus on doing good work and supporting each other. It’s a firm where people tend to stay, not move on.
