Role Overview
We are looking for a Paid Ads Executive to own and improve Ballicom’s paid digital activity, with a clear focus on driving high-quality B2B enquiries and supporting revenue growth.
This role is about turning paid media into a reliable demand channel, not chasing impressions or surface-level metrics. You will be responsible for planning, running, and optimising paid campaigns alongside our partner agency, which encourages customers to request quotes, start sales conversations, and engage with Ballicom as a trusted IT partner.
You will work closely with Marketing, Sales, and vendor partners to ensure campaigns are relevant, measurable, and aligned to genuine customer challenges across commercial and public sector accounts.
Paid Media Strategy and Execution
* Plan and manage paid campaigns across Google Search, Google Shopping, Bing and other relevant B2B channels.
* Translate business priorities into clear, structured campaigns aligned to customer needs, solutions, and buying intent.
* Ensure campaigns are practical, scalable, and realistic within available budgets and approval processes.
Lead Generation and Sales Support
* Drive inbound enquiries through quote requests, contact forms, and high-intent search activity.
* Work closely with sales to understand what qualifies as a good lead and adjust targeting, messaging, and keywords accordingly.
Campaign Optimisation and Performance
* Monitor campaign performance daily and make informed optimisations based on data, not assumptions.
* Manage keywords, bids, budgets, and search terms to reduce wasted spend and improve efficiency.
* Identify opportunities to improve conversion rates through better messaging, landing pages, and calls to action.
Collaboration and Process
* Work closely with Marketing to align paid activity with website content, campaigns, and lead generation efforts.
* Support improvements to landing pages, product pages, and search journeys to reduce friction for customers.
* Help create repeatable paid media frameworks that reduce manual effort and reliance on last‑minute requests.
* Maintain organised documentation of campaigns, learnings, and decisions.
Skills and Experience
* Experience managing paid ads in a B2B environment.
* Strong understanding of Google Ads, particularly Search and Shopping.
* Confidence in analysing performance data and turning it into practical actions.
* Familiarity with IT, technology, or B2B services markets.
* Experience working alongside sales teams and understanding long sales cycles.
* Basic understanding of website optimisation and conversion best practice.
