Vision for Education is seeking a dedicated teacher to join a primary school in Chatham, working with a class that has SEN.
About the Role:
1. Full-time teaching role in a Year 5 class with high needs
2. Create a nurturing and structured learning environment to support students' emotional and academic development
3. Work closely with SEND specialists, teaching assistants, and external agencies to provide tailored support
4. Plan and deliver engaging lessons following the National Curriculum, adapted to suit students' needs
5. Promote positive behaviour strategies and a trauma-informed approach to teaching
About You:
6. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential
7. Experience working with children with SEN or additional SEND support is highly desirable
8. A calm, patient, and adaptable approach to teaching
9. Strong behaviour management skills and the ability to build positive relationships with students
10. Passionate about making a difference in children’s lives
