NR222744 - Specialist Optometrist role at NHS Grampian. Eye Out Patients Department, ARI. Band 7. Up to 2 sessions (Intravitreal Injections).
This is an exciting opportunity for an Optometrist to take on a specialist role undertaking Intravitreal injections within the Ophthalmology department at ARI. The successful candidate(s) will be trained in all aspects of Intravitreal Injection and will join our existing optometric and nurse IVT injectors as part of a multidisciplinary team within the Medical Retinal service.
Responsibilities
* Undertake Intravitreal injections within the Ophthalmology department at ARI as part of a multidisciplinary Medical Retinal team.
* Be trained in all aspects of Intravitreal Injection.
Qualifications
* Optometrist (or eligible for registration) with interest in Ophthalmology and Intravitreal injections.
* Willingness to be trained in Intravitreal Injection techniques.
* Ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team with optometrists and nurses in the Medical Retinal service.
