Duties

* Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service during busy periods
* Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, placing orders as necessary
* Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, adhering to food safety regulations
* Assist in menu planning and development, incorporating seasonal ingredients and customer preferences
* Train and mentor junior kitchen staff in cooking techniques and food safety practices
Requirements
* Proven experience in a similar role within a restaurant or catering environment
* Strong culinary skills with a focus on food preparation, cooking, and meal presentation
* Knowledge of food safety standards and regulations
* Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high-quality standards
* Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail
* Strong communication skills for effective teamwork in the kitchen
* Previous experience in serving or customer service is advantageous but not essential
