We are currently seeking a compassionate, experienced, and committed Senior Residential Support Worker to join our children's home in Northampton. This is a rewarding opportunity to play a key role in the lives of children and young people with emotional and behavioural needs, helping them to feel safe, supported, and empowered.
What You’ll Do:
* Provide day-to-day care and support in a nurturing, stable environment
* Lead and mentor a team of support workers, acting as a positive role model
* Support the Registered Manager with supervision, training, and shift planning
* Ensure compliance with safeguarding standards and care regulations
* Build strong, trusting relationships with the children, encouraging growth and resilience
* Work collaboratively with families, social workers, and other professionals
What We’re Looking For:
* Minimum 2 years’ experience in a residential childcare setting
* NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care (Children and Young People) or a Level 3 Diploma for the Children and Young People
* Strong leadership and communication skills
* Calm, confident, and emotionally resilient
* Knowledge of relevant safeguarding and regulatory frameworks
* Passionate about making a positive impact in young people’s lives
