About the Role
We are seeking an inspiring and visionary Head of Art, Design and Technology to lead and develop a dynamic department encompassing Art, Design Technology, and Food and Nutrition. This is an exceptional opportunity to shape a new department from the ground up:creating schemes of learning, developing specialist facilities, and establishing a culture of creativity and excellence.
Key Responsibilities
: Lead and inspire teaching across Art, Design Technology, and Food and Nutrition.
: Design an engaging curriculum for KS3 and beyond.
: Build and develop a team, including recruitment and mentoring.
: Ensure high:quality teaching, learning, and assessment.
: Oversee resources, health and safety, and specialist spaces.
: Foster positive relationships with students, parents, staff, and the wider community.

: Passionate educator with expertise in any ADT discipline.
: Strong leadership potential and vision for the department.
: Experience in curriculum planning and assessment at KS3 (KS4/5 desirable).
