Basic Salary: £30,338 - £37,444.68 per annum (Dependent on experience)

Are you ready to make a real difference? We’re on the lookout for a passionate and dedicated Full-Time Senior/Supervising Social Worker to join our vibrant team at Foster Care Associates. This is your chance to help shape and enhance fostering services in the Yorks & Lincs area. Our office is based in Melton, and we embrace a hybrid working model that offers flexibility to work from home. You’ll also have the opportunity to travel to our regional office in Sheffield and visit foster parents and children in their homes.

Your Role and Responsibilities
* Support foster parents and their families to achieve outstanding outcomes for children and young people in foster care.
* Supervise, support, and monitor the suitability and competence of foster parents, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment.
* Ensure foster carers understand their roles, competencies, and the standards expected, including FCA policies and procedures.
* Provide regular supervision to allocated foster parents in line with FCA's Operational Standards.
* Collaborate with the child's network to identify needs within the foster family, including respite and activities.
* Maintain compliance with documentation for each child and foster parent.
* Attend meetings and provide reports for Commissioning Teams regarding individual care packages.
* Encourage participation of children and young people in agency development and community resources.
* Participate in an 'out of hours' support service on a rota basis.
* Conduct occasional initial home visits and Form F Assessments.
What You Bring
* A Social Work qualification.
* Professional registration with Social Work England or equivalent.
* Proven ability to produce high-quality reports.
* Comprehensive knowledge of relevant legislation and child safeguarding procedures.
* Willingness and ability to travel extensively across the Yorkshire/Humberside/Lincs area.
* Confidence in transporting children and young people in challenging situations.
* A full driving licence.
