About the Role:
We are looking to expand our pool of experienced contract-based IT Infrastructure Engineers to support global conferences and events. This opportunity is ideal for professionals with deep infrastructure experience who are open to short-term international assignments. A potential full-time role may be available depending on performance and proximity to the Wokingham office.
Key Responsibilities:
* Set up and manage LAN/WLAN networks at event venues globally.
* Deliver onsite technical support throughout live events and conferences.
* Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure or connectivity issues in real-time.
* Collaborate with internal and external teams to ensure smooth technical operations.
* Maintain clear documentation and assist with post-event reporting.
✅ Requirements:
* 10+ years of experience in IT infrastructure and network deployment.
* In-depth knowledge of LAN/WLAN technologies and event environments.
* Flexibility and availability to travel internationally, often for up to 2 weeks.
* Strong problem-solving and communication skills in high-pressure settings.
* Ability to work independently and take initiative while on-site.
* Must be eligible to work in the UK and travel abroad without restriction.
Additional Details:
* Events are held worldwide, with many large-scale conferences in the United States .
* When not deployed, full-time employees are expected to work onsite at the Wokingham office .
* All travel-related expenses will be covered.
