THE ROLE Position: SIA Security Officer Location: London — Multiple Corporate Sites Pay: £13.50 — £16.00 per hour Hours: Full-Time & Part-Time Available Shifts: Days | Nights | Weekends | Rotating Start: Immediate Licence: Valid SIA Door Supervisor or Front Line Security Guard — Essential YOUR DAILY DUTIES Access Control Man the security desk and control all entry and exit to the building Verify identity of all visitors, staff, and contractors Issue visitor passes and manage electronic access systems Challenge and deny entry to any unauthorised individuals Maintain accurate visitor and contractor logs at all times CCTV & Surveillance Monitor live CCTV across all areas of the building Identify and report suspicious activity immediately Operate digital recording systems and retrieve footage when required Ensure full GDPR compliance in all CCTV handling Report camera faults and maintain monitoring logs Patrols & Physical Security Conduct regular internal and external foot patrols Check and secure all doors, fire exits, stairwells, and access points Inspect plant rooms, car parks, loading bays, and roof areas Complete patrol logs using electronic or paper-based systems Identify and report hazards, faults, and security vulnerabilities Incident Response Respond immediately to alarms, emergencies, and security incidents Lead or assist with full building evacuations Liaise with police, fire, and ambulance services when required Detain individuals lawfully and proportionately when necessary Write thorough and accurate incident reports and occurrence book entries Deliveries & Loading Bay Receive, screen, and log all incoming deliveries and post Control vehicle and contractor access to the loading bay Challenge any unscheduled or suspicious deliveries Maintain chain of custody for controlled items and packages Corporate Client Relations Present a smart, professional image at all times in full uniform Greet all building users courteously and professionally Assist tenants, visitors, and facilities teams with building queries De-escalate difficult situations calmly and with authority Build strong working relationships with client and management teams Administration & Reporting Maintain the occurrence book with accurate, detailed shift entries Complete daily activity reports and shift handover notes Manage keys, fobs, and access cards using key management systems Brief incoming officers fully at every shift handover Stay current with all post orders, site instructions, and client updates Health, Safety & Compliance Operate in full compliance with UK health and safety legislation Adhere to GDPR at all times when handling personal and site data Follow all company policies, post orders, and codes of conduct Report accidents, near misses, and hazards without delay Wear full uniform and PPE correctly throughout every shift WHAT YOU MUST HAVE £13.50 — £16.00 per hour based on site and experience Overtime regularly available at enhanced rates 28 days paid annual leave including bank holidays Flexible shifts to suit your lifestyle Stable long-term sites — not casual or ad hoc work 24/7 management and control room support Officer recognition and performance reward schemes THIS ROLE IS PERFECT FOR Officers in retail or venue security ready to move into corporate work Experienced corporate officers looking for better pay or a better employer Former military or police transitioning into civilian security Newly licensed SIA officers seeking their first professional placement Officers on zero-hours contracts who need guaranteed, stable hours Anyone who takes genuine pride in professionalism, presentation, and service HOW TO APPLY Send us the following and we will be in touch within 24 hours: Email: Apply online:
