About Tenterden Mindfulness
Tenterden Mindfulness was established in 2015 by GP Dr Neil Pillai and became a registered charity in 2018. The aims are to support the well-being of the local community and beyond in the South East through evidence-based Mindfulness practice. Over five hundred people including members of the public, teachers, NHS staff and school children have benefited from our courses. The charity seeks to recruit up to two additional trustees to help expand services and increase trustees to nine. One appointment should have experience in fund raising and grant applications; knowledge of marketing through social media is advantageous, along with being computer-literate.
Time commitment and compensation
Prospective candidates should have time and enthusiasm to work with other Trustees to oversee the charity’s aims. The trustee role is unpaid.
