KS2 Primary Teacher (Full-time, Temporary)

£670 – £811 per week (salary is depending on experience and/or qualifications)

The School and Role
This Primary School in the Chester-le-Street area (DH2) is currently seeking to appoint a full-time KS2 Teacher for the duration of the Summer Term (April – July 2026). The KS2 Teacher appointed for this position will be covering an absence in a Year 3 classroom, and will need to be experienced in teaching pupils with SEND. Throughout this placement, there will be full class teacher responsibilities (planning, marking and assessment). This is a slightly-larger-than-average primary school, where staff work together to ensure all children have good learning opportunities. There is parking on site for all staff.
Requirements
The desired KS2 Primary Teacher will have;
- Experience of working with primary school aged children
- Experience of working with pupils with SEND
- A passion for the progress of primary school pupils
- An ability to work as part of a team
