Working Hours - Full Time
The working hours are 9am - 3pm Monday to Friday with 30 minutes for lunch. 27.5 hour week

We're a well-established, family-run business with nearly 60 years of experience in the industry. Our fleet includes Plant Hire, Plant Lorries, Road Sweepers and Crane Lorries.
The Role:
We are seeking a proactive and professional Business Development and Sales Representative to drive new business growth, nurture existing customer relationships, and support supplier compliance processes. This is a hands-on role that combines sales expertise with administrative diligence.
Key Responsibilities:
* Identify and win new business opportunities across the services we offer, including proactively researching upcoming projects (e.g., new housing developments) and visiting sites to establish early contact and secure potential work.
* Maintain and grow relationships with existing customers, ensuring repeat business and high satisfaction.
* Liaise regularly with office staff to identify underutilised services or machines that could benefit from increased sales focus.
* Visit customer sites and attend face-to-face meetings to build strong working relationships and gain insight into client needs.
* Complete and manage supplier compliance forms (e.g., PQQs, insurance documents, health & safety info).
* Accurately record leads, contacts, and compliance tasks using CRM Management.
Requirements:
* Experience in business development or sales, ideally within the construction industry
* Experience or willingness to manage compliance documentation.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
* Organised, self-motivated, and able to work independently.
* Full UK driving licence.
* Comfortable driving a van for site visits.
Salary is starting from £21,300 + Performance based Bonus Scheme
