Responsibilities
* Attract the top talent from candidate pools to ensure positions are filled with the best possible candidates.
* Source and attract new candidates using databases, job boards and other channels.
* Coordinate with Nursery Managers to arrange nursery‑based interviews and work trials.
* Provide feedback from managers to candidates, including performance observations.
* Assist with recruitment drives and attend internal and external events.
* Work with the Head of Talent to develop skills and advance your career with Fennies.
* Assess candidate suitability, verify references and conduct background checks.
* Conduct interviews, deliver confident feedback and negotiate salary arrangements with Nursery Managers.
* Maintain complete records of hires and interviews, providing necessary data to the Head of Talent and HR department.
* Promote Fennies’ reputation to attract high‑quality talent and support growth.
Qualifications
* Experience in the recruiting process, including interviewing (phone and in‑person) and sourcing candidates.
* Strong IT skills and excellent communication with good interpersonal abilities.
* Completion of higher education (A‑Level or equivalent). Minimum grade 4 or grade C in Maths and English GCSE (or equivalent).
* Knowledge of safeguarding, health & safety, inclusion, diversity and confidentiality, as well as relevant employment legislation.
* Excellent organisational, time‑management and decision‑making skills to prioritise multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
