Responsibilities
As a Systems Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and maintaining complex systems solutions that meet our clients' needs. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment of systems, while adhering to industry standards and best practices.
Duties include but not limited to -
1. Systems EngineeringRequirements and Use Case analysisConcept assessment and design trade studiesSystem architecture design and functional modellingPerformance assessment and systems behavior analysisVerification, Validation and CertificationModel based engineering techniques, including MBSE
2. Project and Programmes Experience desirableDefence Sector Highly desirableMarine Sector highly desirableFleet Operations desirableModifiations and configuration management Bid Management desirable
Qualifications
3. BEng or equivalent in relevant engineering discipline (Electronic Engineering, Electrical and Electronic, or Communications).
Experience
4. The post holder must be able to demonstrate relevant knowledge and skills required in the technical management of complex design development throughout the design lifecycle
5. Sound understanding of engineering design and safety practice as relevant to discipline, post and project requirements
6. Sound project specification & planning experience
7. Sound understanding of Company and departmental procedures relating to Design, Health & Safety and Quality requirements, and ability to manage projects in accordance with these procedures.
8. Working knowledge of relevant engineering office computer applications
9. Experience of the design support to construction, operation, refit/repair of conventional and nuclear submarines and/or facilities
