We are looking to appoint dedicated and experienced SEN Teaching Assistants to join the team at an SEN school in Barnsley. Key Responsibilities
* Support pupils on a 1:1 basis and in small groups
* Assist teachers with delivering adapted and engaging lessons
* Promote positive behaviour and emotional regulation strategies
* Support pupils’ social and communication development
* Monitor progress and provide feedback to teaching staff
* Help maintain a safe and structured learning environment
Requirements
* Essential: Previous experience working with children or young people with SEN
* Understanding of ASC, SEMH, or complex needs
* Calm, patient, and resilient approach
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills
