SEN Teaching Assistant - Reception Classroom (Full Time)Rochdale | September 2025 - July 2026 | 8:30am - 3:30pm | Are you passionate about supporting children with additional needs in the early years of their education? A nurturing and inclusive primary school in Rochdale is looking for a compassionate and committed SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils within their Reception classroom from September 2025 to December 2025, the school will be looking to take the Teaching Assistant onto a perm contract from Jan 2026.The Role:* Full-time, term-time only: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 3:30pm* Working within a Reception classroom to support children with a range of special educational needs (SEN)* Providing 1:1 and small group support tailored to individual learning and developmental needs* Assisting with early learning activities including phonics, speech and language support, and social skills* Helping children with classroom routines, sensory regulation, and transitions throughout the day* Collaborating closely with the class teacher and SENCO to implement support plansWhat We're Looking For:* Experience working with children with SEN, particularly in an EYFS setting (desirable)* A calm, patient, and caring approach* Strong communication and observation skills* Ability to build positive, trusting relationships with young children* Relevant qualifications or training in SEN support or childcare are an advantageWhy Join This School?* Supportive and inclusive school environment* Welcoming team with a strong focus on child-centred learning* Valuable opportunity to gain experience in both EYFS and SEN support* Ongoing professional development availableIf you have a passion for making a real difference in a child's early school experience, we'd love to hear from you.Apply now or contact us for more information!Aspire People Limited provides services as an Education Agency and an Education Employment Business.
