The home supports young people with emotional and behavioural needs and is now ready for a confident, child-focused leader to take it forward. You'll be supported by an experienced senior team and already established staff group, giving you the platform to lead from day one. Up to £55,000 basic salary £5,000 Welcome Bonus Annual performance bonus (up to £11,550) 32 Days Annual Leave (including bank holidays) Fully funded DBS checks and renewals Access to employee wellbeing and reward schemes Ongoing training & leadership development Supportive senior leadership and clinical networks Clear progression path within a large and growing organisation About the Home: 4-bed residential children's home Supporting young people with emotional and behavioural needs (EBD) Strong staff team already in place, ready to be led Backed by a large, national provider with a strong compliance and care framework Clear, supportive structure for Registered Managers Provider committed to quality, outcomes, and staff progression About The Role: Full operational responsibility for the home Lead a team to deliver safe, structured, child-focused care Ensure full compliance with Ofsted and safeguarding standards Drive performance, placement stability, and team culture Oversee staffing, rota management, appraisals, and mentoring Be the key link for professionals, families, and external agencies Monitor service performance, reporting and budgeting Promote a home culture of warmth, structure, and consistent boundaries Requirements: Minimum 3 years' experience in children's residential care at senior level Level 3 or 4 in Children and Young People's Workforce (or equivalent) Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management, completed or in progress Strong understanding of safeguarding, care regulations, and The Children's Act Confident leadership style, hands-on, proactive, and supportive Budget management experience (desirable) Full UK Driving Licence Flexibility to work on-call and meet the demands of the role Interested?
