Description
As the Design engineer you will be tasked with the following;
* Delivery of sustaining engineering and NPD Projects
* Creating and checking CAD models and technical drawings
* Performing pertinent actions in SAP (Raising EC's, BOM creation)
* Owning all stages of allocated projects from concept through testing, verification and launch
* Development of new/existing products, taking into account all aspects of user experience, technical specification and production implications.
* Providing innovative solutions to engineering problems.
* Maintain reporting of project statuses and actively partake in meetings and discussions
Profile
A successful Design Engineer should have:
* A degree or equivalent qualification in Engineering or a related field.
* Proficiency in using design software such as CAD or similar tools.
* A solid understanding of industrial and manufacturing processes and standards.
* Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think creatively.
* Experience working on cross-functional teams to achieve project goals.
* An eye for detail and a commitment to producing high-quality designs.
* Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to engineering design.
