Excellent opportunity for AWS DevOps Engineer to be part of our Cloud Infrastructure & Security services practice. Cognizant Infrastructure Services provides IT infrastructure & Cloud services for clients across industry verticals, including Consulting/Professional and Managed Services, covering Enterprise Computing, Cloud services, Security Services, DevOps, Data Centres, End User Computing, Service Desk, Network Services, and Environment Management Services.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Act as SME for AWS services such as EC2, VPC, RDS, ELB, Route 53, EFS, S3, and Athena.
2. Configuration Management and Version control using Ansible and GIT.
3. Containerization and Orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes.
4. Deployment and automation using Jenkins, GitHub, GitHub Actions, CodePipeline, and CodeDeploy.
5. Manage DevOps CI/CD pipelines.
6. Monitor & ensure system health using AppDynamics and CloudWatch.
7. Troubleshoot Java/JVM applications, analyze heap dumps, and resolve memory leaks.
Key Skills and Experience:
* Hands-on experience with AWS services like EC2, VPC, RDS, ELB, Route 53, EFS, S3, and Athena.
* Proficiency with GIT for version control.
* Experience with Ansible for configuration management.
* Knowledge of Docker for containerization and Kubernetes for orchestration.
* Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform and AWS CloudFormation.
* Proficiency in CI/CD tools including Jenkins, GitHub, GitHub Actions, CodePipeline, and CodeDeploy.
* Experience with monitoring tools such as AppDynamics and CloudWatch.
* Experience with Jira and ServiceNow for incident management.
* Strong Linux expertise; Windows OS familiarity is a plus.
* Proficiency in scripting languages: Bash, PowerShell, Python.
* Experience troubleshooting Java/JVM applications, heap dump analysis, and resolving memory issues.
