Job Description
Working within the Litigation Team of a highly ranked national law firm, you will be dealing with a high volume of commercial and regulatory disputes in both private and public law.
You should have at least 3 years' experience in a similar role. The team deal with insurance matters within the wider Litigation, Advisory & Regulatory department.
You will get involved with inter parties costs issues, working for both private and public sector clients such as insurers, local authorities, housing associations and NHS Resolution.
Requirements:
You will support a range of litigation teams including Insurance Litigation, Clinical Risk, Commercial Litigation and Property Litigation.
Responsibilities:
* cost schedules for summary assessment
* Precedents H, R and T
* files for detailed assessment
* with provisional assessments
* Bills of Costs, Points of Dispute and Replies
* Negotiating costs
* Advising on third party costs
* hoc costs advice internally and externally
