We are looking to recruit a Senior Database Engineer on a permanent basis.Reporting to the Database Engineering Manager, this is a key role within the Cloud function.
This is a highly technicalroleand you willberesponsible forthe operational excellence and delivery ofon-premiseand in cloud database services. You will play a key role in theend to enddelivery of complex database solutions.
This role is based 2 days a week in Preston.

The ideal candidate will have a proventrack recordas aSeniorDatabase Engineer.Knowledge of SQLServerorMySQLisdesiredalong with experience of workingon-premises andwith cloud platforms such as GCP, AWS or Azure.
* Experience working as aSenior/ LeadDatabase Engineer.
* A proven track record of working with SQLServerorMySQLand willingness to cross train to cover both.
* Knowledge of workingwith Cloud Platforms such as GCP, AWS or Azure.
* Linux knowledge would be advantageous.
