The nursing team establishes and maintains effective communication, working closely with parents, carers, education, and other agencies to help children reach their full potential in school.
If you enjoy caring for children with complex needs of all ages, in a growing and dynamic team, this could be the perfect opportunity for you!
Responsibilities include:

4. Having a special interest in Tissue Viability and developing this across the nursing team.
5. Working as part of a team to support each other and meet children's health needs.
The service operates year-round, with core hours Monday-Friday 9-5. Regular supervision and team meetings are part of the role.
New starters will undergo a comprehensive induction at our head office in Rainham, Essex, including mandatory training and system familiarization. The role is subject to a probationary period, with internal applicants generally exempt.
This post attracts a High-Cost Area Supplement of 15% of the basic salary, with a minimum of £4,714 and a maximum of £5,941, pro-rata for part-time staff.
Applicants should check eligibility under the UKVI points-based system for sponsorship, as sponsorship cannot be offered for all roles.
Additional responsibilities include planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing interventions, supporting transition processes for children with complex needs, involving families in decision-making, and managing own workload independently.
Applications should be written by the applicant; AI use in applications may lead to rejection, although support for disabilities is permitted.
