A leading organisation is seeking a skilled Workday Payroll Administrator to join its fast-paced team on a 6-month temporary basis. Based in Milton Keynes, this is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced payroll professional to make an impact within a large, dynamic environment offering meaningful exposure and career development.
Your New RoleYou’ll be responsible for ensuring payroll data is accurately processed in accordance withpany procedures and statutory regulations. From managing starters and leavers, to timesheet updates and exception handling, your attention to detail and proactive approach will be essential. Key Responsibilities Include:
1. Process starter, leaver, and change requests with precision
2. Handle attachments of earnings and variable payroll data
3. Monitor employee debt recovery and overpayment processes
4. Maintain thorough documentation for daily checks
5. Assist with peer checking and ensure SLA and KPIpliance
6. Tackle payroll enquiries professionally via email, phone, or Jira
7. Support with faster payments and system updates ( P46 uploads)
8. Collaborate across teams to implement process improvements
What You’ll Need to Succeed
9. Proven experience in payroll administration, preferably in large-scale environments
10. Familiarity with Workday Payroll is essential for this role
11. Intermediate Excel and Word proficiency
12. High level of numerical accuracy and organisational ability
13. Confidentmunication skills and a customer-first mindset
14. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
