Senior Site Chemist
Location: Hinckley, UK
Salary: £35, – £40, (DOE)
Working Hours: Monday to Friday – 8:00am-5:00pm
My client is looking for a Senior Site Chemist to join our team based in Hinckley. The ideal candidate will have direct experience working in a Site Chemist or Lab Chemist role for a Waste Management company.
You will be responsible for the safe operation of the site, waste handling, and liaising with site management to implement day-to-day work requirements and be responsible for training and developing fellow site chemists. Key Responsibilities:
8. Ensure compliance with site permits and waste acceptance regulations
9. Oversee safe operation of the site and waste handling
10. Develop and train chemists, and maintain stock rotation
11. Monitor quality and compliance, and submit non-conformance reports and invoices on time
12. Liaise with site management to implement day-to-day work requirements
Requirements:
13. Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or related field
14. Previous experience as a site chemist or related role
15. In-depth knowledge of waste acceptance regulations and HSE segregation guidelines
16. Strong leadership and communication skills
