The Corporate Asset and Facilities Management (CAFM) Service manages and maintains the organisation's large and complex estate, comprising 335 assets including sports pavilions and Halifax's Town Hall.
We are seeking a Facility Support Operative to join our team. The successful candidate will need practical and organisational skills to perform and record building compliance checks, undertake minor repairs, carry out daily cleaning, restock public conveniences across Calderdale MBC, and support the smooth operation of our facilities.
The role requires awareness of health and safety, building compliance, security, and hygiene issues. The candidate must be able to carry out compliance checks, work flexibly across various locations, hold a full driving licence, and be willing to work weekends.
