Warehouse Supervisor (Evenings) Location: Northern Ireland Hours: 42.5 hours per week (Sunday to Thursday, 4:00pm start - job and finish, with a 30-minute unpaid break) ?? Salary: £35,000 per annum back shift allowance About the Company Our client is a well-established, family-run business based in Northern Ireland, specialising in the production of high-quality bakery mixes, confectionery ingredients, and related food products. Purpose of the Role To lead and supervise evening warehouse operations, ensuring all tasks are completed accurately, efficiently, and safely. This includes overseeing goods in/out, hygiene standards, staff performance, and ensuring customer requirements are met in full. Key Responsibilities Supervise warehouse operations including goods in, picking, loading, and hygiene standards Ensure all vehicles are loaded correctly, on time, and in full Maintain high standards of cleanliness and organisation across all warehouse areas Conduct regular patrols to monitor staff performance and picking accuracy Support investigations, disciplinary, and grievance meetings as required Hold weekly staff meetings and ensure effective communication across the team Ensure adherence to food safety and quality standards (e.g. BRC) Monitor staff attendance and timekeeping Oversee safe use and maintenance of mechanical handling equipment (MHE) Ensure all documentation is completed accurately and in a timely manner Lock and secure the building at the end of the shift Offer suitable product substitutions in the event of stock shortages Report picking errors and operational issues to the Warehouse Manager Promote fair and consistent management practices in line with company policy Health & Safety Responsibilities Promote and maintain a safe working environment Adhere to all company Health & Safety policies and procedures Report hazards, unsafe practices, incidents, or near misses promptly Use PPE and equipment correctly and responsibly Participate in risk assessments and safety initiatives Support continuous improvement in workplace safety Requirements Essential: Previous warehouse experience Strong communication and leadership skills Valid Reach Forklift Truck (FLT) certification Computer literacy Desirable: Voice picking system experience Counterbalance FLT certification What We Offer 29 days holiday (inclusive of bank holidays, pro rata) Company pension scheme Life assurance cover Employee discount scheme Employee assistance programme How to Apply To apply for this role, please click the "Apply" button with an up to date CV, you can call the Branch on and speak to Donna Reed is proud to be representing this opportunity on behalf of our client.
