Location: Bristol (1 to 2 days in office per week)
Hours: Full-time (35 hours per week)
Contract: Temporary (2 to 3 months)
Rate: £15.34 to £15.89 per hour (plus holiday pay)
Start Date: ASAP
About The Role
Prospectus is delighted to be supporting a national health charity to recruit an organised and proactive Fundraising and Membership Officer. The role will play a key part in ensuring supporters and members have a positive experience.
Key Responsibilities
* Coordinate and deliver operational tasks for the membership programme, including renewals, new sign-ups, and payment processing.
* Ensure donations and memberships are processed, recorded, and acknowledged promptly.
* Maintain accurate database records in line with fundraising regulations and GDPR.
* Manage mailing lists for the membership magazine.
* Handle outgoing post and office-based tasks (Bristol office, 1–2 days/week).
* Respond to membership enquiries via phone and email.
* Support team meetings and contribute to wider organisational activities.
What We’re Looking For
* Recent experience in a similar fundraising role.
* Confidence using CRM databases (Raiser’s Edge).
* Knowledge of ME and its impact will be advantageous.
* Excellent verbal and written communication.
* Strong multitasking and organisational skills.
* Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
