Role Overview: As a Humanities Teacher, you will deliver engaging lessons across a range of Humanities subjects, helping students develop knowledge, analytical skills, and a deeper understanding of the world. You will contribute to a positive learning environment and support pupils in achieving their academic potential. As a Humanities Teacher, you will: Plan, prepare, and deliver lessons in History, Geography, and related Humanities subjects. Create engaging, inclusive, and stimulating learning experiences. Monitor pupil progress, provide constructive feedback, and support individual learning needs. Encourage critical thinking, discussion, and independent learning. Work collaboratively with colleagues, department heads, and parents to support student development. Maintain high standards of safeguarding, behaviour management, and pupil welfare. Requirements for Humanities Teacher: UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. Strong subject knowledge across Humanities disciplines. Excellent classroom management, organisational, and communication skills. Ability to engage and inspire pupils of varying abilities. An enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply). A full CV covering the last 10 years, with explanations for any gaps.
