The Energy Division at ARM are currently recruiting an experienced Commissioning Engineer (Electrical) to join a market-leading design, engineering and project management client, to be based preferably in the Birmingham or Glasgow areas.
Job Overview:
Our client is working on some major grid related projects and are looking for someone to oversee the installation and commissioning stages of projects, as well as to resolve technical issues at sites.
Examples of the types of work you may be involved in:
Commissioning the protection and control aspects of different projects.
Coordinating with clients, engineers, sub-contractors and suppliers as required.
Attending site visits, FAT and SAT as required.
What you can bring:
In addition to strong communication and problem-solving skills, key attributes include
HND or degree qualified in Electrical Engineering or equivalent qualifications and experience.
Experience in commissioning P&C of substations in the UK (NG and/ or SSE).
BP141 or equivalent authorised or ability to do so.
A high adherence to safety and quality regulations.
Flexibility to travel to client sites as required.
