Your Purpose
As our Functional Skills Teacher, you will be responsible for using a collaborative, multi-sensory and holistic approach to the delivery of the English, Maths, Science and ICT Functional Skills curriculum. You will be delivering to small groups or on a 1:1 basis with our Learners, working closely with our Curriculum Leads to provide captivating and innovative sessions with young people who have become disengaged with mainstream education.
Job Role: Functional Skills Teacher
Contract: Term-time, Permanent/ 37.5 hours per week
We Need
We need educators who have prior experience of delivering Functional Skills in a SEN environment, are innovative in their approach to teaching and have some experience of managing health and safety awareness, risk management and the safeguarding of young people. Our successful candidates must have a flexible approach to learning and have the ability to remain resilient when faced with challenging behaviours. You will also need QTS status.
