Established in 1980, the WasteCare Group now employs over 500 people based at 9 regional service centres and 8 recycling facilities throughout the UK. We collect and recycle over 200,000 tonnes of hazardous and difficult waste, on behalf of over 20,000 organisations annually throughout the UK.

Key responsibilities (will include but not limited to)
* Checking new customers credit ratings, setting up accounts, and reviewing credit limits to minimise financial risk
* Set and monitor credit limits
* Ensure debts are paid in a timely and effective manner
* Allocating receipts to customer accounts
* Resolving internal and external queries regarding, invoices, payments, and disputes
* Developing and maintaining relationships with customers
* Respond promptly and efficiently to both customer and internal queries
* Reconciling complex accounts, posting / allocating cash, and raising credit notes
Required skills & qualifications
* Previous experience in a credit control, sales ledger, or accounts receivable role is essential
* Have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
* Have strong IT skills with experience in Microsoft Office
* Experience in Sage 200 would be advantageous
* Have excellent written and verbal communication skills
* A formal credit control qualification would be desirable
* Ability to work on own initiative
* Ability to interact with stakeholders at all levels
