The OrthTeam Centre (OTC) is a state of the art Outpatients and Diagnostic private facility adjacent to Spire Manchester Hospital. Currently, the team is looking for an experienced Administrator to join us on a full time and permanent basis.
The OTC strives to be an autonomous centre of excellence, aiming to be the private healthcare provider of choice for Musculoskeletal Outpatient Services, across the Northwest. This is an exciting joint venture between OrthTeam Consultants and Spire Healthcare and is an ideal opportunity for individuals looking to join a new team and be part of a developing service.
Working hours: Varied shifts between the hours of 7:45 am and 08:30 pm. 1 in 5 Saturdays 08:00-16:00 will be required.
Contract type: Permanent
As Administrator, you will be supporting the administration of care to patients across a range of specialties including orthopaedics, neurosurgery, neurology, sport and exercise, medicine and pain management. The centre offers outpatient consultations, diagnostic imaging and injection therapy services.
Duties and responsibilities:
* Provide the highest levels of customer service and best advice, within a multi-functional department
* To actively, keep up to date and share appropriately, all aspects of the OTC Consultants practice
* To work in accordance with and compliance to all relevant, policies, procedures and documented best practice, as set out by the OTC, SMH and Spire Healthcare
* Maintain a positive and proactive approach to professional development
Who we are looking for:
* The successful candidate must have excellent customer service skills
* Previous and relevant experience in a multi-skilled, patient support role
* Experienced and proficient in the use of PC, to include Microsoft packages
* Experience of using in-house/administration systems such as SAP
* Someone who works well as part of a team
