Salary:£43,247 - £46,077 per annum
35 Hours per Week
Location: Wildwood Way

About the Role

As HR Systems Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in managing and developing our core HR platforms, with iTrent being the main system. You’ll lead a dedicated team, ensuring our systems are efficient, secure, and aligned with our strategic goals.

You’ll work closely with internal departments, IT & Digital, and external providers to drive system enhancements, support workforce planning, and ensure business continuity.This is a fantastic opportunity to shape the future of HR technology in a large, complex organisation.

What You’ll Be Doing

* Managing and maintaining key HR systems to ensure optimal performance and integration.
* Leading system upgrades, enhancements, and structural changes across the Council and maintained schools.
* Overseeing system governance, compliance, and contract management.
* Collaborating with stakeholders to improve processes and resolve complex system issues.
* Developing data dashboards and ensuring data integrity and security.
* Driving innovation and continuous improvement in HR technology.

We’re looking for someone with:

* Substantial experience managing HR systems which includes iTrent in a local authority or similar environment.
* Proven leadership skills and experience managing a small team.
* Strong knowledge of system governance, compliance, and business continuity.
* Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
* A strategic mindset with the ability to manage multiple projects.
* A Level 7 qualification in HR or IT (or equivalent experience) and a commitment to ongoing professional development.
