Perks: * Excellent salary * £3,000 Welcome Bonus * Access to our ‘Refer a Friend’ scheme to earn up to £1000 * Annual Leave: Up to 33 days, including bank holidays * Nurse Package: Including a cash back medical plan. * High street discounts via HCPA Academy. * In-house training and development. * Access to career progression throughout the group * Employer pension contribution * Free parking * Fully funded DBS * Get your birthday off after 1 year with us As a Deputy Ward Manager, either on our acute or PICU ward, you will: * Play a key leadership role in providing high-quality, compassionate care to patients. * Support the Ward Manager in day-to-day operations, ensuring smooth running of the ward. * Lead and motivate a skilled team of nurses and healthcare staff. * Contribute to clinical governance and service improvement. * Ensure compliance with all safety and regulatory standards. * Support Service Lead in managing sickness and absence on a shift basis and in the absence of the Ward in line with policy, in partnership with HR and the principles of safe staffing. * Participate in the recruitment and selection of staff, including interview panels and a formal induction programme. * Liaise with the service lead when reviewing ward’s basic protocol * To be scheduled for weekly on-call duty at least once a month * Attend service improvement meetings such as clinical improvement, restrictive practice, team meetings and other practice review meetings as scheduled What we are looking for: * Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) or RNLD with active NMC registration, * Experience in a leadership role within a mental health setting. * Strong clinical and communication skills. * Sound IT skills * A passion for improving mental health care services. * A minimum of 3 years’ experience of working as a nurse in a mental health setting. * Experience in OPMH care or PICU is desirable * You must have outstanding communication skills, excellent clinical skills and be motivated to offer the highest standards of care
