A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Senior Private Client Solicitor to join the team in Wakefield, West Yorkshire, on a hybrid basis.
The successful candidate will provide comprehensive legal advice and services to private clients, focusing on wills, probate, and lasting power of attorney. The role requires a strong understanding of private client law, relationship-building skills, and the ability to work with Directors on business development.
This position is suitable for an experienced Solicitor or Legal Executive aiming to take a leading role within an established Private Client department while managing a varied caseload.
Requirements: Candidates must have at least 8 years’ PQE or equivalent experience. Experienced candidates seeking part-time work will also be considered.
Responsibilities
* Provide expert legal advice on private client matters including wills, probate, and lasting power of attorney. Court of Protection experience is desirable.
* Draft and review legal documents ensuring compliance with relevant laws.
* Manage a diverse caseload efficiently while maintaining high standards.
* Build and maintain strong client relationships, offering tailored solutions.
* Liaise with other professionals such as financial advisors and accountants.
* Stay informed on legislative changes affecting private client law.
* Supervise support staff, providing guidance and mentoring.
