Role and Responsibilities
We are seeking a Building Control Technical Support Officer who shares our commitment to customer care. As part of the Place Business Support Team, you will assist in providing technical support to our Building Control Team. You will deal with correspondence and incoming calls from both internal and external customers and use a variety of back-office systems to complete a range of tasks requiring accuracy and attention to detail.
* The successful candidate will need to have good communication skills, ability to work within a team and be able to work on their own initiative.
* You must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel and experience with Idox Uniform is desirable, although training will be provided.
* Working as part of a busy team, you will possess excellent organisational and interpersonal skills.
* Knowledge of Building Control and the recent changes to the regulations would be an advantage.
