Working closely with sales, operations, and technical teams, the Bid Writer ensures all proposals are tailored to client requirements, technically sound, and aligned with company strategy.You will manage multiple tenders simultaneously. You are responsible for managing the entire tendering process. To ensure success, you will maintain internal communication with colleagues and (team) managers, gather the necessary input, and collaboratively develop a winning strategy—then turn it into a compelling proposal. You know how to translate the client’s requirements and wishes into commercial and persuasive texts to create winning tenders.**Key responsibilities:**As Bid Writer, you will join the **Tender desk department**. You will collect all the necessary information to clearly respond to the client’s questions and write a comprehensive and winning (European) tender. In consultation with colleagues, you will determine the direction of the content. Using the pricing tool, you will also prepare the pricing proposal as part of the tender.Your responsibilities include:* Monitoring various tender platforms and identifying opportunities* Actively seek new tender, PQQ & framework opportunities* Managing the entire process from identifying and registering to submitting the tender* Presenting the tender to the client when needed* Translating client requirements into texts and calculations* Interpret tender documents and identify key deliverables, deadlines, and compliance requirements.* Coordinating with various departments* Planning and tracking deadlines* Maintaining an overview of bids and evaluating won/lost bids* Transfers qualified sales opportunities to Salesforce**Key skills & experiences:*** Collaborative team player, and results-oriented* Sales / Business Administration is very beneficial* You have commercial insight, tact, and coordination skills* Capable of performing complex calculations* Excellent written command of English* Experience in submitting tenders* Excel knowledge and CRM (Salesforce is beneficial)* Knowledge of procurement processes and related topicsWhat KONE can offer:We offer a Competitive Salary, 25 days holiday and 8 additional Bank Holidays, 1 Volunteering Day, Pension Scheme, Development opportunities, and development reviews to help you achieve your professional goals.
