We are partnering with a world-class innovation and research centre embarking on an exciting growth journey.
The Procurement Category Manager for Facilities services is a newly created position within a greenfield Procurement team, supporting the Head of Procurement in delivering top-tier procurement activities and developing robust category strategies across the group.
You will own the FM category and manage supplier relations for both Hard and Soft services, as well as Laboratory Equipment and Services. Experience in building and implementing category strategies from scratch is essential, along with managing a varied estate.
This role is ideal for someone with an ambitious mindset, capable of working in an agile environment, and excited about supporting a greenfield team’s growth and development with their expertise.
Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:
* 8+ years’ procurement experience, especially in Facilities Management sourcing.
* Experience managing procurement for laboratory equipment and related services within an FM context.
* Proven track record in leading complex procurement projects with measurable value delivery.
* Experience in highly regulated industries (e.g., Pharmaceuticals, Life Sciences, Research) is advantageous.
* Bachelor’s degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Facilities Management, or related field; a master’s degree is desirable.
* MCIPS qualification or active pursuit of full membership is highly desirable.
