About the Company The company was founded in 2020, by its Director who has been in the flooring industry for over 25 years. During that time he has been involved in some of the largest soft flooring commercial installations in the UK. Now focussing on the residential market, the company has been going from strength to strength since its inception, and due to a number of new contract awards for 2023, along with repeat orders from their existing client base, they have an opportunity for a Project Coordinator to join the team to work alongside the MD in the head office in Manchester. About the Role Based at the Head Office, the Project Coordinator will report directly into the Managing Director, and oversee the smooth running of flooring installation projects across the UK. The Project Coordinator will work closely with the Contracts Manager and office admin staff to ensure seamless delivery of projects. Project Coordinator Key Responsibilities Drive projects forward along agreed timelines Manage and oversee all aspects of planning, procurement and project management. Ensure all materials are accounted for prior to procurement and delivery to achieve start dates and milestones. Oversee the running of projects to ensure flooring installers are aware of the specification and requirements of each project to help achieve a smooth and efficient handover. Once projects are completed the Project Coordinator will account for costs and invoice clients accordingly. What You Need to Succeed 2-5 yrs experience in a project coordinator or project planner role A background in the construction industry, ideally as a project planner / coordinator. Excellent communication skills and an ability to liaise with stakeholders and corporate clients. Well organised and have the ability to deal with a high volume and varied workload. The ability to work well as part of a small and close knit team.
