Our client is a respected company based in Bradford. They are looking for a skilled Finance Manager to join the finance team and ensure the effective management of our financial resources.
Role Overview
The Finance Manager will oversee financial operations, ensuring compliance and supporting strategic decision-making. The role involves managing a small team of 3 direct reports, preparing financial reports, and guiding the companies financial planning.
Key Responsibilities
* Production of the Monthly management accounts
* Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting
* Ensuring accuracy and compliance with charity laws.
* Manage cash flow and provide financial analysis for senior management.
* Ensure proper handling of restricted and unrestricted funds.
* Lead and develop a small team of 3 finance staff.
* Support external audits and ensure timely filing of tax returns.
* Advise senior leadership and the board on financial strategy and risk management.
Qualifications & Experience
* ACA, ACCA, CIMA
* 3+ years' experience in finance management, ideally in the charity sector.
* Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
