Job Title: Software Tester – Automation & Manual
Our client are a well established software provider that are building their new software development team.
They are now looking for a Software Tester to join their Hampshire based business.
Key Role Responsibilities
* Design and execute automated and manual test scripts for both functional and non-functional testing across the development lifecycle.
* Develop test strategies using a risk-based approach to ensure quality during Agile delivery.
* Collaborate with business analysts and developers to refine requirements and drive testability.
* Maintain and prioritise the bug backlog, ensuring defects are tracked through to resolution.
* Configure and maintain test automation integrated with CI/CD and build pipelines.
* Contribute to Agile sprints by supporting all phases of testing.
* Build and sustain UI and API test automation frameworks.
Experience Required
* Proven experience in test automation for web and mobile applications using tools such as Selenium and Appium.
* Familiarity with writing test scripts and acceptance criteria using BDD and Gherkin.
* Understanding of cloud technologies such as Azure and AWS.
* Hands-on experience with performance testing, system integration testing, and CI/CD pipeline integration.
* Experience in test strategy creation and agile software delivery.
* Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
* Knowledge of tools such as Postman, JMeter, Visual Studio, and Azure DevOps.
