Sentinel Electrical is looking for an Electrician to join our growing electrical division, supporting projects across the South.
This role has been created to support the increasing demand for electrical works across our housing and assisted living clients. If you’re looking for a varied role combining small works, project support and technical input within a professional, engineer-led business, we’d love to hear from you.
Role:
Carry out surveys, small works, inspection and testing across residential and commercial properties.
Typical works include:
* Small electrical installations and remedial works
* Electrical fault finding and reactive call-outs
* Power supplies for life safety systems (fire alarms, AOV, assisted living)
* Electrical testing and certification (Minor Works, EICs, EICRs)
* Site surveys and technical assessments for upcoming projects
* Supporting project delivery across Sentinel Electrical
The role will initially focus on operational delivery and small works, with the opportunity to progress into a team leader, project manager, or internal installation role as the division grows.

What You Need:
* City & Guilds 2382 (18th Edition)
* NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation & AM2 (or equivalent)
* City & Guilds 2360 / 2330 / 2365 or equivalent
* Experience carrying out small works and installations
* Strong fault-finding ability
* Good understanding of electrical certification and compliance
* Strong awareness of Health & Safety
* Full UK driving licence
* Good IT literacy for digital certification and reporting
Desirable (not essential):
* 2391 Testing & Inspection (or willingness to train)
* Experience working within social housing or occupied buildings
* Experience with life safety systems (fire alarms, AOV, assisted living)
