The company are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented BIM Technician to join, supporting the management and day-to-day use of our Common Data Environment (CDE) and assisting with the implementation of cutting-edge Building Information Modelling (BIM) processes across live projects.

BIM Technician Job Overview
CDE Management: Assist with setup and administration of the Common Data Environment to ensure secure and compliant data handling.
BIM Integration: Support adoption of digital construction practices in line with ISO 19650 and the UK BIM Framework.
Geometric Modelling: Produce accurate 3D models using Autodesk Revit or similar software.
Data Control: Maintain accurate and accessible project documentation and records.
Information Management: Apply protocols in line with ISO 15489 and internal standards.
Procore Support: Help teams adopt Procore; experience with Aconex or Viewpoint is beneficial.
Training & Support: Provide training and act as a digital tools support resource for teams.
Collaboration: Work with design and project teams to ensure digital best practice.
Data Analytics: Support data gathering, analysis, and reporting for project insights.
Technical Skills: Demonstrate strong IT proficiency across BIM and project platforms.
QHSE Compliance: Follow company policies on quality, health, safety, and environment.
BIM Technician Job Requirements
Basic understanding of digital tools for information and quality data management - ideally within construction.
Exposure to BIM and CDE processes (training or certification a bonus).
Comfortable working with project teams and communicating clearly.
Organised, proactive, and confident with computers and document systems.
Familiar with platforms like Procore, Viewpoint or Aconex (desirable).
Awareness of CDE standards such as PAS 1192 / BS 19650 (desirable).
Microsoft 365 proficiency (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams).
Able to handle PDFs - editing, converting, and creating files.
