Description Construction Project Management Specialist Location: We operate a flexible, hybrid working environment with the candidate required to travel to our Warrington office up to twice a week. This role is pivotal in ensuring the successful deployment and maintenance of smart water meters across designated regions, in collaboration with water utility partners and field service teams. Key Responsibilities: Project Delivery: Lead end-to-end project management of specified utility installations Contracts, ensuring delivery on time, within scope, and budget. Stakeholder Management: Liaise with internal teams, suppliers, contractors, and clients to coordinate activities and resolve issues. Continuous Improvement: Understanding the construct of the contracts, make data driven recommendations on enhancements to delivery model. Leading any proceeding projects Risk & Issue Management: Proactively identify risks and implement mitigation strategies. Escalate critical issues and manage change control processes. Process Improvement: Drive operational efficiency through process reviews and implementation of best practices. Skills & Experience Required: Proven experience in project management within utilities, telecoms, or infrastructure sectors. Strong understanding of the utilities industry, particularly smart metering technologies and regulatory frameworks. Experience/exposure to projects including logistics planning, forecasting, and stock management. An understanding of Health and Safety, NRSWA and Utility Regulatory Frameworks is desirable. Excellent analytical skills with proficiency in Excel, Power BI, or similar tools. Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills. Project Management certification (e.g., PRINCE2, PMP) desirable. Personal Attributes: Analytical mindset with attention to detail. Proactive and solution-oriented.
