Fun loving personal assistant required to support young adult out and about in the community.
Our son loves the outdoors, playing and watching football, playing pool, darts, cricket and seeing animals. He loves life and his personality is infectious.
Due to his complex epilepsy, experience or training in providing emergency medical treatment desirable but not essential as training can/will be provided.
Constant 1:1 care required due to learning disabilities and health needs.

Duties include:
* Medication prompting/administering
* Personal grooming
* Eating and drinking assistance
* Other relevant duties as required
* Transportation
* Companionship
* Dressing / undressing
* Bathroom assistance
* Accessing social and leisure activities e.g. Walks, going to the park, swimming, clubs, days out, cinema etc
Candidate qualities:
* Respectful of the employer's privacy and confidentiality

* Able to both follow instructions and work on own initiative
* Hygienic, tidy and well organised
* Fit and healthy to undertake the required duties
* Patient and possess excellent interpersonal skills
* Honest and cheerful
* Able to speak and read English to a reasonable standard
* Able to always work to high standards of health & safety
The role requires close personal contact with an individual who is extremely vulnerable to the risk of infection and disease transmission. Preference may be given to applicants who have been fully vaccinated against Covid-19. Careful consideration will be given to applicants who can show the vaccination is not suitable for them on reasonable grounds.
