We’re looking for a proactive and customer-focused ICT Service Desk Support Analyst to join a dedicated team supporting critical health and social care services.
đź§ľ Key Responsibilities
1. Provide first-line technical support for ICT incidents and service requests
2. Log, track, and escalate issues to relevant teams, ensuring timely resolution
3. Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with data security policies
4. Assist with hardware/software installations and liaise with third-party vendors
5. Support service delivery in line with ITIL, ISO20000, and ISO27001 standards
6. Contribute to continuous improvement and modernization of ICT services
🎓 Essential Criteria
Qualifications & Experience (assessed at shortlisting):
7. HND or equivalent 3rd-level qualification in ICT and 6+ months in a technical ICT role
OR
8. 1+ year of relevant ICT technical experience (e.g. desktop support, user support, service desk)
9. ITIL Foundation Certificate or willingness to obtain within 6 months
10. Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (reasonable adjustments considered)
Skills & Knowledge (assessed at interview):
11. Strong understanding of technical concepts and problem-solving
12. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
13. Ability to manage pressure, prioritize tasks, and work independently or in a team
14. Familiarity with Windows 10 and Microsoft Office (2016–365)
15. Knowledge of ICT service delivery best practices (ITIL, ISO standards)
