Brook Street Recruitment is working on behalf of our client in Mallusk who are currently seeking to recruit a new proactive and detail-oriented Warehouse Operative / Load Coordinator
Please note - The successful candidate would generally be required to work Monday to Friday 12pm 8pm
Candidates must be computer literate with ability to use outlook, training will be given on operation of the in-house transport system
Outline of Duties
The duties in this role are wide and varied and without prioritising them in terms of importance (except the first one) they include but are not limited to the following
A very positive, friendly attitude when communicating with customers and suppliers alike. This is absolutely key as the client do not tolerate any form of negativity in relation to customer requests
A fork lift license / counter balance with experience is preferable but not essential
Debrief drivers on their return to depot
Manage the intake of signed delivery note
Co-ordinate issues reported by drivers with the transport manager
Liaise with operations team when discrepancies to export loads are identified
Collate info on export consignments and update our transport system
Prepare export manifest and when complete share electronical copies with UK partners to inc documentation
Furnish export driver with copy manifests
Supervise export traffic in the yard looking for discrepancies and checking data supplied from shippers are correct
Download import manifest on to transport system
Print delivery notes and marry up with shippers paperwork
Sort documentation for transport manager
Assist with data input such as pod and run night kpi's
Assist loaders and drivers when required to load and secure export trailers
