Part Time Accounts Payable Assistant
ACCA Careers is looking for a detail‑oriented Part Time Accounts Payable Assistant to join our manufacturing finance team in Accrington. This role is 27.5 hours per week, fully office‑based, with an initial temporary assignment that may transition to full time.
Key Responsibilities
* Process supplier invoices accurately and in a timely manner.
* Reconcile supplier statements and resolve discrepancies.
* Assist with preparing payment runs and ensuring compliance with payment terms.
* Maintain accurate records of transactions and support month‑end processes.
* Communicate with suppliers to resolve invoice queries effectively.
* Support the accounting and finance team with ad‑hoc administrative tasks.
* Ensure compliance with company policies and financial regulations.
* Collaborate with internal departments to ensure smooth financial operations.
Qualifications & Experience
* Previous experience in Accounts Payable or Purchase Ledger.
* Willingness to accept an initial temporary role.
* Ability to commute to Accrington office full time.
* Open to considering a part‑time role of 27.5 hours per week.
